10 Year
Celebration
2003-2013
ROSELLE NJ, January 15th , 2013 -- January 2013 marks the beginning of the tenth calendar year that Metrofuser has provided quality service parts, whole unit printers and training to its customers in the office equipment industry.
In 2003, Metrofuser opened its doors as a remanufacturer and distributor of printer parts for Hewlett Packard laser printers. Over the years, the company has expanded its product portfolio to include Lexmark printer parts and it continues to offer increasingly more remanufactured, environmentally friendly alternatives for parts on the top monochrome, color and multifunction printers in the imaging supplies industry.
The company has evolved considerably over the past ten years, adapting quickly but thoughtfully to meet the needs of its customer base. The company opened up a California distribution facility in 2006 because, as Metrofuser’s CFO Eric Katz noted, “many of our customers are in the service business and cannot afford to wait two or three days for replacement parts to arrive.” Metrofuser has worked with regional and national carriers to expand its range of next-day ground coverage while keeping freight costs manageable.
In 2008, Metrofuser started to offer printer repair training classes. “It was an ideal way for us to support our current customers,” said Will DeMuth, Metrofuser’s Chief Operating Officer, “as well as expose our brand to new prospective customers. For growing service providers or copier dealers looking to increase their product base, our offering of weeklong repair and theory classes has been an essential tool in their expansion.”
Metrofuser also began remanufacturing HP laser printers and multi-function devices in 2010. It is a division of the company that has seen rapid expansion, especially as managed print services (MPS) has taken hold and dealers look to find the most cost-effective, reliable printers to deploy. Years of experience in developing proprietary products that solve the industry’s complex problems have positioned Metrofuser as an industry leader that adapts to meet the needs of its clientele and is first-to-market with product offerings and unique solutions.
Metrofuser has continued to grow year after year, despite an uncertain and often difficult economic climate. “The two most important forces in our rapid development,” said Demuth, “have been a superior team of professionals who care about keeping our customers happy and a maniacal obsession with improving and perfecting our quality. Many of our employees have been here for years, enabling us to create a core group of experienced technicians and managers whose dedication has allowed us to evolve and advance.”
“In the end,” said Katz, “we look at our relationship with the customer as a partnership. When we make great parts and printers, when we provide them with training and the tools for them to excel, that is when and how we are able to grow and develop as a company.”He added, “We are proud of the company that we’ve built and even more grateful to our customers, partners and employees for the last ten years of service and support. We look forward to even better things in the future.”

Ninety five percent of the company's work force lives in the countries that where under a state of emergency declaration and in the path of the storm. These people, many without power, left their damaged homes and fought there way to get to work. Everyone exercised creative and unconventional means to return to, and maintain up time. We also want to thank our special customers that worked closely with us and recognize them for standing by our side which directly supported the families devastated by the storm. Finally we want to assure everyone our NJ facilities fully operational.

Metrofuser Adds Leasing Options To Remanufactured Laser Printers
Resellers can significantly enhance the value they provide to their customers by offering the option of lease vs. buy at the time of printer quote.
August 1, 2010- Roselle, New Jersey- HP parts provider Metrofuser (www.metofuser.com) has announced today an exclusive leasing alliance between its Resellers and its Leasing Partners. With this alliance, Metrofuser’s resellers can significantly enhance the value they provide to their customers by offering them the option of lease vs. buy at the time of quote.
Resellers, working with Metrofuser, will offer and facilitate leases to qualified end-user customers. Metrofuser can jointly assist resellers to pre-qualify end-user organizations for eligibility. This will significantly expedite the progress.
Pre-qualified companies will have access to a host of tools to help them evaluate the buy vs. lease tradeoff. They will also have the ability to track the status of the lease application and have access to other lease-related support. Moreover, Metrofuser’s leasing partners will provide tools and training to resellers to familiarize them with various lease options.
"The vast majority of small and medium size businesses that purchase IT equipment do so through a lease program," stated Will DeMuth Chief Operating Officer "By entering into this leasing alliance, we look forward to assisting resellers to enhance their value-add to their customer base, while allowing them to capture end-of-lease product cycle opportunities."
"Integrating the technology that the customer requires with the right financing, at the point of purchase, clearly enhances the value of the distribution supply chain
Our Certified Remanufactured Printers already have the lowest cost of ownership due to the capacity of the toner cartridge and completive pricing. With the introduction of leasing, this option will be the lowest cost of acquisition at the fleet level. Our resellers will have an advantage when competing for fleet sales or against new OEM product.
With the increased cash flow flexibility offered by a lease program and remanufactured printer, end-user organizations may have the ability to consider other products and upgrades such as MPS / service agreements and accessories without exceeding their budget.
Metrofuser’s Trade-in and Save Program further enhances the cost of acquisition by allowing the end user the ability to trade in his old printer and reduce the cost of the newly remanufactured one.

Metrofuser Celebrates Earth Day – Achieves Another Environmental Milestone
Metrofuser spent earth week celebrating its reclamation of over 600,000 pounds of used computer hardware through its recycling program since the company’s inception in 2004.
In July, 2006, Metrofuser had announced its reclamation of over 240,000 pounds and set a goal of 500,000 by the end of 2007.
“We are elated that we not only met our goal set in ’06, but we have far exceeded it,” said Will DeMuth, Co-President, “Contributing to a cleaner environment, establishing ourselves as an environmentally responsible corporate citizen, and continuing to raise the bar to increase responsibility industry-wide.”As promised in 2006, Metrofuser continued to expand its program through 2007 by raising awareness and increasing the rate of electronics recycling among its business consumers in the United States. “Optimally, we want to achieve a 100% recycling rate, and we will strive to improve and continue to expand the program until we meet that goal.” Last year the imaging recycling industry saved 131 million pounds of solid waste from our nations landfills.
