HP 4200 Ripping Sleeve: Problem Solved

Metrofuser implements 2nd Generation AntiTear™ Technology solving Industry wide epidemic of failing fusers

Roselle NJ – October 1st, 2010 Laser printer parts manufacturer Metrofuser (www.metrofuser.com) has released its next generation engineering upgrade that has solved the defect than has plagued the imaging industry.

The Delaminated Fuser

The HP 4200 printer is a widely used 35 page per minute printer in the corporate environment however users of HP LaserJet 4200 series printers have experienced printing problems caused by delaminated or torn film on the product’s fuser and occurring long before the end of the fuser’s 200,000-page life. The delaminating causes a catastrophic image defect and has shortened the life of the fuser considerably.

After months of research and development, Metrofuser has built upon its existing technology that has corrected the film delaminating on the HP 4200 Fusing Assembly. The proprietary upgrade has been implemented in the production of the fuser.

The next Generation AntiTear™ Fuser Technology will dramatically change the landscape for the parts and service industry. This breakthrough will move us from reduction of film tears to complete elimination. Most importantly the next generation of AntiTear™ will enable the 4200 printer to be a viable solution in the modern (MPS) manage printer service environment.
