“Better Then New” P3005, 2015 Formatters

Roselle NJ – September 26th, 2009 Laser printer parts manufacturer Metrofuser (www.metrofuser.com) announced the availability of Better than New formatter boards for the HP P3005 and 2015 printers. Existing OEM technology suffers from premature failures due to component level heat sensitivity. Errors inherent in HP’s factory model formatters include:

“Replace Memory Dimm”
“Replace Dimm Zero”

Metrofuser’s formatters are now equipped with heatsinks mounted on the processor to extend the life of the board. All re-chipped boards are put through a 24 hour burn in period to ensure reliability. Finally, all formatters are upgraded with the latest firmware to eliminate the 49.FF errors. The original MAC address is maintained.

Service companies can send boards to Metrofuser for repair to have this engineering upgrade installed or purchase the improved design part through Metrofuser’s advance exchange program. These engineering upgrades allow Metrofuser to double the 3-month OEM warranty on these parts to a 6 month warranty.
